Demetria is the Founder and CEO at Decide Diversity. Demetria's mission is to increase the presence and effectiveness of women in the workplace, specifically in leadership positions. Demetria is a coach, trainer, consultant, and public speaker. Demetria's experience and education has energized her to take action and lead a new generation of leaders away from traditional stereotypes and self-inflicted limiting behaviors that prevent qualified people from reaching their highest potential. Demetria has been helping people and organizations for over 10 years.
Demetria is an advocate of career and leadership development programs and has partnered with several organizations, such as Dress for Success Louisville and SHRM, to develop and facilitate programs for unemployed and underemployed women.
In 2017, Demetria was recognized as a Martin Luther King Jr. Leadership Award nominee because of the work she does in diversity.
Demetria has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a master’s degree in Instructional Design, and is in the process of earning a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology with a focus on leadership and diversity. Demetria’s academic and personal experiences bring clarity, freshness, and focus to diversity issues.
