I've always been loudly pro-DEI. There's no mistaking where I stand because this isn't just a passion for me- it's my business, my life's work, the thing I know can change the world. My commitment to DEI is visible in everything I do, from the trainings I lead to the products I create. Even in my personal life, DEI guides my decision-making. When choosing a daycare for my kids, I was curious about the background of the other children attending, the teachers, and if the facility offered a sliding scale for families who couldn't afford the regular rates. It is important that DEI is a living guide for every part of my life.
I recognize that not everyone can or wants to be as vocal or visible about DEI as I am- for whatever reason. I know people who are deeply committed but due to their work environment or home environment, being vocally explicit about DEI might be unsafe for them. I know people who are naturally quiet so being loud about DEI isn't authentic to who they are. I know people who just aren't sure how to do DEI in a way that is meaningful, not performative. I know people who can only think about those big, structural changes that they've heard me talk about often, but can't think of the smaller actions that also create positive impact.
This is where MicroDEI comes into the picture!
What is MicroDEI? MicroDEI is a revolutionary approach that empowers you to facilitate change through small, yet powerful actions. It's about challenging traditional norms and assumptions in subtle, everyday ways. It's a very intentional set of actions that shakes up the status quo- whatever that means in your sphere of influence.

It's about challenging the norms we've unconsciously accepted and turning them on their head.
